The aim of Speak Portuguese! is to provide a high quality language resource for those who wish to learn how to speak Portuguese.
It is part of the Speak Languages! network of websites.
Access to the site is free. We are currently adding sound, and soon users will also be able to hear all the phrases and vocabulary spoken by native Italian speakers for a small subscription fee.

Portuguese has a rich literature deriving from both Portuguese and Brazilian authors and poets whose work is best appreciated in the original language.
